HIV Program

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Pediatric, Adolescent, & Young Adult Specialty (PAYAS) Program at MUSC Children’s Health provides expert care for children who have HIV or have been exposed to the virus. Our doctors are board certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases. They’re part of a team that includes a nurse case manager, a social work case manager, an educational psychologist, a child psychiatrist, and a peer advocate. Our comprehensive care team provides the best outcomes for every patient through patient and family-centered care and advocacy.
