MUSC Children's After Hours Care

MUSC Children's Hospital is pleased to provide after hours care clinics in Mount Pleasant, North Charleston and now in Summerville.

Though your pediatrician may keep normal office hours — fevers, rashes, cuts and sprains keep their options open. As a result, many children end up in adult-oriented urgent care clinics or crowded emergency rooms. MUSC Children’s After Hours Care is changing what’s possible. We’re working with pediatricians throughout the Lowcountry to extend access to quality pediatric care to weeknights, weekends and holidays. Every child deserves the right care at the right time.

  • 100% Pediatric-trained staff
  • Child-friendly environment
  • Pediatric equipment, radiology and labs
  • Shorter wait times than the average ER visit
  • Open evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Timely communication with your doctor
  • Newborns through age 17
  • No appointments necessary
